There are differences in the efficiency of production and photoelectric conversion between mono crystal and poly crystal cells.
Mono crystal solar cells are made of mono crystal silicon. The surface of mono crystal solar cells is mostly dark blue or black. There is no crystal structure. Poly crystalline solar cells use poly crystalline silicon as the raw material. The surface of poly crystalline solar cells is mostly blue, with different sizes and shapes of crystal structures, and the direction of crystallization is not the same.
In terms of photoelectric conversion efficiency, the photoelectric conversion efficiency of single crystal silicon battery is about 20.2% - 22.4%, even higher. The conversion efficiency of poly silicon battery is about 18.6%.
